Roter Camargue Langkornreis - wie alle BONGRAN Produkte aus zertifiziertem Bio-Anbau - ist eigentlich eine Laune der Natur, eine "spontane Mutation" die in jeder Reisernte auftritt. Kultiviert wird Roter Reis jedoch fast ausschließlich in der Camargue. Die Farbe steckt im Häutchen des Korns, so daß Roter Reis stets als ungeschliffener, vitaminreicher Vollkornreis angeboten wird.
Roter Reis hat einen fein nussigen Geschmack und eignet sich als Beilage zu vielen Fleisch- und Fischgerichten.
Red Camargue Rice - like all other products from BONGRAN from certified organic agriculture - is in fact a spontaneous mutation which happens in all harvests every season, but it is in the South of France that Red Rice is almost exclusively cultivated. The red colour is contained in the fine membrane that covers the grain. Thus Red Rice is always commercialized as an unpolished, full-grain product which preserves all its vitamines. With its fine nut-flavour Red Rice is ideal to accompany meat and fish.
